I have been making really quick cut and paste animations, which are basically me making collages, or drawing, they topple, crumble, yet flow, there quite humorous, they are being projected whilst I perform, the films, I am making link to the songs or objects I have been given I shall be using, there will be a photo Gallery of items I have been given and rough dates.
Paul gave me a tape player, which I have made in to a new instrument, it distorts but if played correctly can make the effect on the start of Jeff Buckleys Grace sound incredible, like a building falling.
Helen Colett donated some tapes, so I have been experimenting with them, I shall use them for my support slot with Jo Rose.
I have been rehearsing what I plan to do, and it should be strange, I like character, so shall dress up a little bit, I think because I can't improve on what has been done, on certain songs, I look at them in a different way so playing I put a Spell on You on the acordian is quite different isn't it? why? well Screaming Jay Hawkins version is so rawcus, trying to make it a melodious affair could be ace.
Its being filmed so shall have it on here soon enough, I have in my head what it could be like.
