Uses my Piano to make Noise and Amazing Sounds.

http://ana-suromai.tumblr.com/post/8619260834/womb-performed-in-a-church-for-the-first-time-at

Womb are a band, Womb are made up of Women who make noise, Mostly Feminist, its interesting. They use stylophones, and improvise, I wonder if songs will one day be composed? it might lose its charm. I love the spontaneity the CANish flair. I look forward to hearing new interesting sounds, each gig extremely different from the last.

Womb gig at St Margaret's Church (5/8/11)
Womb performed in a church for the first time, at the experimental night ‘Tuber Music’. We decided to start off playing kids toys and acoustic things, then to go DOOM!! Warning: THE SOUND GETS FRIGHTENING!!

This gig consisted of Womb members Helen Shanahan, Fiona Ledgard, Whitney Bluzma, Sian Williams, Louise Woodcock, Rosanne Robertson, Jennifer McDonald, Genette Reynolds, Stephanie Davis, Emily Ward and Lauren Velvick.

What am I to do when I finish

http://www.exploratorium.edu/who/artists/ One day this, for definite!

But in the mean time, I'd like to continue studying and progressing in creative practice, I don't see education as a means to getting a job, but as gaining information which could enrich your life and really believe this course at Queens University Belfast could do that, I have a lot of family in Belfast also, The course is called Sonic Arts and I would concentrate on the performance elements, I have a lot of ideas roaming around in my head about making electronic music with acoustic sounds, and really think this course could help some dreams come in to fruition.

I am also applying for a course at Oxford Brookes, there is a lovely cafe job there in Oxford and I had a dream, about living there and the course sounds ace its at a top university also, so win win. http://www.brookes.ac.uk/studying/courses/postgraduate/2011/cam

I will also be applying to do Fine Art Media at Slade School of Art at UCL, which would be brill, very competitve as are all of these, but seeing as the fees go up next year its even more so, and even more important to get on to do an MA, as I won't be able to afford it all then, London is a pricey place so would work an awful lot, My Kate bush impression might get me some money, voice overs etc.

The Big Hitter, when I was in foundation my tutor said, apply to London after Manchester ideally RCA it will set you up for life! and I will how ever seeing as its one of the best if not the best art school in the country my portfolio needs be impecable, even development work needs to be perfect, The course is also Fine Art Media. The deadline for that one has passed but there are special circumstances.

Max Msp, and Ardunio, and Jitter

I googled interactive art, and I am trying to produce a piece of it with my piano.

I want it so when you play the piano, different films come up, and effects, I know that I have to use a webcam to scan the hammers beating the strings inside the Piano (Diagrams to come soon)

Photos of piano in Progress.
